Wix to Custom Website Migration
Hand-coded for speed, built to turn visitors into customers, and delivered at a fixed price you agree to before any work starts.
Sound familiar?
- You've paid Wix every month for years and still don't own your website.
- Your site loads slowly, especially on phones, and nothing in the editor truly fixes it.
- You've hit the ceiling of what the template can do, and your business has outgrown it.
- You worry that leaving means losing your content, your domain, or your Google rankings.
What migration looks like
Here is what the switch off a builder actually involves, start to finish.
Every page, image, and word of content moved carefully to a hand-coded site you own outright.
Redirects set up properly so your existing Google rankings carry over instead of resetting.
A design rebuilt custom, not re-templated, so the new site is an upgrade, not a copy.
Zero downtime. The old site stays live until the new one takes over.
What clients say
Abdul was amazing. Very communicative and ready to help at a moment's notice. I hired him to build a website for my tax firm and he was thorough in finding out my needs, efficient in getting it done according to my specifications, and super polite. I definitely recommend him!
Questions, answered
Will I lose my Google rankings if I leave Wix?
Not if the migration is done properly. Every existing URL gets a redirect to its new home, and search engines follow them. This is standard practice and it's included, not an add-on.
Can I keep my domain?
Yes. Your domain is yours. It points to the new site when we launch, and your email keeps working throughout.
What does migration cost?
Typically $350 to $800 right now depending on the size of the site, below typical market rates while I grow my US client base. Remember what it removes: the builder subscription you'd otherwise pay forever.
How long does the switch take?
Most migrations complete in about a week to 10 days, and you see the new design within 48 hours. Your current site stays untouched and live the entire time, so there's no gap.
